Santa Rita Wine & Bike half day tour

If you are one of those people who look for unique experiences and enjoy outdoor activities, you definitely have to live the experience of biking farm roads, surrounded by grape vines at the feet of the Andes mountains, which connect the Santa Rita, Carmen, and Nativa organic production wineries.
During the 10 kilometer trail on flat land and through private roads, you will have the opportunity of enjoying beautiful scenery; you will be able to learn more of the wine production; you will see where the flagship wine of Chile, the carmenere, was rediscovered; and of course, you will be able to try several of the exquisite wines of the area.

Tour Winery Santa Rita

Founded in 1880, Santa Rita is one of the biggest and most important wineries in Chile. Recently declared as a National Heritage Site, Santa Rita has open doors for visitors to show its tradition and quality.

The vineyards are located in the area of Alto Jauel a few kilometers from Santiago, where you can enjoy a great experience in a wonderful place.

The tour starts at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. We pick you up at your hotel and drive to the town that gives Santa Rita and other major Chilean wineries a home. Once at the winery, you will get to know the production process and storage of wine, the main differences and qualities, and of course participate in (two) tastings. Outside of the main house you can enjoy beautiful gardens, vineyards and the Andean Museum which is a modern construction building and features unique pieces of art.

At the end of the tour, we will visit the Santa Rita Store where you can find various types of wines and other souvenirs.

The old cellars and vineyards of Concha y Toro are part of Chilean winemaking tradition and the place where, in 1883, founded what is now one of the largest wine companies in the world.
