6:00am – 10:00am Pickup at your hotel/hostel in Lima. Direct bus to Paracas, a beautiful small town by the sea.

10:00am – 12:00pm 2 hour boat tour of the Ballestas Islands. The Ballestas are a smaller version of the Galapagos, but just as great, where you’ll see sea lions, penguins and lots of birds all in their natural habitat.

13:00pm – 14:15pm Direct bus from Paracas to Huacachina, a small natural oasis located in the Ica desert.

14:15pm – 15:30pm Free time to explore and have lunch at one of the local restaurants around the oasis.

16:30pm – 18:30pm 2 hours of dune bugging and sand-boarding – Ride the dune buggies up and sand-board down the biggest dunes in South America.

19:00pm – 23:45pm Bus back to Lima.

The Dune Buggy tour and Sand Boarding, is one of the main activities that we offer on the desert of Ica. You are going to live an adventure through the Ica desert, going up and down the dunes riding dune buggy cars, you will also have the opportunity to do the sandboarding, if you choose this tour at the end of the day you will have the option to enjoy the sunset from the Iqueño desert.

This tour can be done from our private circuit departing from the dunes hotel or from the Huacachina desert.

Place of Departure: Pick up can be coordinated from your hotel in Ica or bus station.

Departure Time: Daily at 08:00 am. Until 16:30 pm. (last departure)

Tour Lengh: 2 hours (including internal transfers).

Our Dune Buggy Car has the following specifications:  

- Dune Buggy arenero with Land Cruiser 4.5 engine, Armchair seats with capacity for 8 people and semi-professional 4-point seatbelts.

- Suspension off road Ironman.

- Rescue implements such as sling, hilift jack, spare tire and first aid kit.

to enter the desert of Huacachina, it is necessary to walk around 80 meters of dune to reach the Dune buggy car since the cars are not allowed to be close to the lagoon.

Some times we use an alternative entrance to the desert In case you go with childrens, we use the entrance to the desert from the promised land (behind the Huacachina lagoon), an alternate path access where the tubular waits for you and they enter directly into the desert without having to walk.

This three-hour cruise on our yacht will take you around the Ballestas Islands. This archipielago is officially used by authorities to harvest guano every five years. In the meantime, it's part of a huge system of protected areas where fauna concentrates. Sea lions, penguins and shorebirds are easy to spot during this activity. An evolution from our Desert Adventure for those travelers not interested in doing the 4x4 ride in order to get to the bedouin camp. We transfer guests in regular vehicles to one of the beaches we've spotted inside the National Reserve. A large variety of catering options can be chosen for this experience.

PARACAS it is located in the department of Ica a few hours to the south of Lima (3 hours), it is a combination of desert with sea and its cliff are surround it by a variety of birds and the penguins of Humboldt. The National Reserve of Paracas is the only protected area in Peru that includes a marine ecosystem. The place is a refuge for sea lions, Humboldt penguins, flamingos and other birds. This route includes a sea excursion to the Ballestas Islands, then during trip along the sea, you will able to appreciate a hillside, where there is a figure of Candelabrum (geoglyph over 120 meters long, also called Trident), similar to the Nazca Lines, but with a different source or origin.
